I am totally having withdrawals from my blog this week. I cannot seem to find the cord to download pictures from my camera to the computer anywhere. So, when it does finally show up you all will get major overload of pictures and the old news to go along with them. Ta-Ta for now, check back often for updates on the happenings around the Cox house!

Has it Really been a Whole Week !?!?
I can't believe I've let a whole week go by without posting anything, I am thouroughly disgusted with myself. I'm doing exactly what I cuss everyone else for, it's just that I haven't had anything of interest to write about. I know I should have been more proactive about Mother's Day posts. I would have liked to honor my own Mom with a sentimental and heartfelt tribute but the computer was actually froze up and having major problems over the weekend, so maybe I can make up for it on her upcoming birthday!
Anyway, there is just one thing I wanted to share with ya'll; lastnight I was checking out a blog I had heard about awhile ago. It is found at www.cfhusband.blogspot.com and it really touched my heart. I can't share the whole story with you here, but if you ever have a chance to check it out you should. On the right side of the main page you will want to begin by clicking on "Read this first", and make sure you watch the video clip at the bottom of that page, along with the rest of the videos shown there. It is truly amazing!

Love of my Life
I just wanted to get on this blog and let everyone know what a wonderful lady I have to record our lives in such a fashion. She is so dedicated to us and we are grateful each day for her love. This blog is a result of her love for the family she is raising. Some of the things I love about Shan are: her beautiful smile, it brightens many of my dark days, Her touch, soft as a feather and oh so reassuring, Her desire, she goes far beyond the norm to accomplish her goals, Her love, our familiy feels it daily. Just tonight she took time to teach our girls something about being responsible in a gentle and loving way.
Thanks for all you do Mom and we LOVE YOU!!!!!

Stetson's Baptism
Wow! I can hardly believe my second child has just been baptized. It's so crazy how time just flies, it seems like yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital. I am so proud of my boy and the decision he has made to be baptized; this is something he has been looking forward to since his big sister was baptized a little over two years ago, and that makes me very happy. It is a scarey thing to see your kids grow up and turn the age of accountability, but having such a great kid who desires to do the things his Heavenly Father has asked of him makes it a litle bit easier. I pray, Stetson that you will always feel the Holy Ghost in your life, and choose to follow his promptings. You're so awesome, and we as your family love you very much!!

Sydney & Sadie's Dance Recital
As you can see last Saturday was an extremely busy day. With it being Stetson's Birthday and all our day started with his baptism @ 9:00 a.m., followed by a brunch for all who attended, then he had a soccer game @ 11:30 a.m. Our afternoon festivities continued with dress rehearsal for the girls' dance recital @ 4:00 p.m. followed by the recital starting @ 6:00 p.m. It was a crazy day but we all had a great time! We ended a wonderful day with dinner at Chili's with Nana, Dalton, and Lexie....YUM!

Jam Session
Last Wednesday I got together with my friends, Jamie & Ilene to make Strawberry Jam. It was alot of fun! I just wanted to post the pictures and the memory on my blog so I can always remember what great friends I have. Ilene is totally my hero; because not only was this "Jam" session her doing but it was also her little teaching session for Jamie & I. And, while we were making jam she was also baking three heavenly loaves of homemade wheat bread (she's an excellent cook). Not to mention she works out regularly (has a great body) and is a wonderful Mom to five adorable kids! If only I could be more like her.
